The outside fabric is a medium-weight barkcloth bought from a beloved store, Diamond Foam and Fabric, while I was living in southern California in the early 2000s. Luckily there was just enough yardage left to make this sweet Kathy tote. The lining and the piping are pieces from my ever-growing remnant bin. I was drawn to the red in each fabric, and so this combination was born!

The Kathy Bag is a great personal size and can be carried by the straps without hitting the floor.
