This lightweight contemporary barkcloth, “Mary” (in pinks and purples) from Outback Wife by Gertrude Made, offers a nostalgic nod to the past with a sweet modern twist. I bought this out-of-print fabric from 5 Little Monkeys Quilting and am delighted I still had the last of its kind to share with you in this bag. The llama lining fabric is from Fabric Traditions. I confess I bought a lot of this yardage because who doesn’t love a little llama? The piping is a piece that I saw in my remnant bin, and I thought it was perfect!
