“Blooms” is the name of this fabric designed by Tina Vey’s Modern Retro from Cloud 9. And the combination of colors and organic plant shapes in the organic cotton barkcloth is certainly blooming with beauty. The few times I’ve used this fabric in a bag I’ve almost always paired it with a fabric that contains pink. The lining in this unique version is from Tilda Quilt Collection, the Cotton Beach Collection, entitled “Ocean Flower Blue.”I found it at one of my favorite shops, 5 Little Monkeys Quilting in Weaverville, NC.The white polka dot on a pink background is the perfect color pop for the piping. I purchased a ton of this fabric, “Maisies Garden,” from JoAnn Fabrics. You could almost always find a little something in a polka dot at the JoAnn. I’ll miss it!
