This bag’s exterior fabric is called “Bindi” and it’s another great design from Outback Wife by Gertrude Made. It’s a contemporary barkcloth, and I adored it so much I bought all the yardage Angie had at 5 Little Monkeys Quilting in Weaverville, NC. The lining and piping fabric are coordinating cotton prints from my stash. I’m sad that a lot of these contemporary barkcloth designs are out of print, but their rarity makes it a true joy to give them life as handcrafted art you can use.
