I’m grateful that I bought a large yardage of this Trendtex Fabrics, Ltd. heavyweight barkcloth from Aloha Fabrics. I have so much fun doing pattern layouts with these palm trees to make every bag a unique build. The crazy multi-colored skulls of Dan Morris’s “Design 2021” for QT fabrics are the perfect lining choice—it’s a very spooky vibe!I paired it with this Robarre fabric that my friend Kathy GH gifted me from her mother’s fabric stash. There was about a yard of it, just enough to make piping for a couple bags. The piping doesn’t show off the swell little musical jesters, but the fact that it’s an amazing vintage fabric from a friend is priceless!
