I am partial to the Snowy Egret. When Neil and I lived in St. Petersburg, Florida, we would walk down to the bay and see those amazing birds on a regular basis. Charley Harper has placed that beautiful egret on a vibrant orange, premium organic cotton barkcloth appropriately named “Snowy Egret,” for Birch Fabrics, and how could I pass it up? I loved it so much that I purchased a whole bolt from Birch Fabrics! The lining from Asheville Cotton Company is called “Echinacea,” from Free Spirit Presents Love Always, AM by Anna Maria, in a tomato red and turquoise variation that is a perfect striking combo for this Lera bag. The piping fabric is “Mellow Yellow” by Satin Moon Designs for The Blank Quilting Corp. What can I say? Those sweet dragonflies keep cropping up!
